Currently, my client got issue with Comau Robot.
Robot application is for pick and place. The robot will ONLY pick up the product when the product is release from the clamper unit.
Unfortunately, robot still pickup the product even though clamper unit still not release the product. Since there have no collision detect setting, severe damage for robot gripper and jig itself.
What I understood, robot system should be complete with Collision Detect function during purchased the robot.
Is it Comau robot need to purchase difference package for collision detect function inside software of robot?
I got information from client, current robot there have no collision detect function.
